1958 Packard - $7,000 - Sacramento, CA - 1958 Packard 4-door sedan, two tone exterior, repainted original colors about 20 years ago. Power Steering,Borg-Warner three-speed automatic -column shift, 289 cu in.V-8 with 225hp-Carter four -barrel carburator,original AM radio. Power Brake unit was removed by previous owner but brakes work well without applying excessive pressure. Previous owner installed a manually operated fuel injector, works well.
The car looks good from 20 feet, has a few minor dings and scratches.Some minor rust,bubbling in front fenders. Interior was re-done in NOS upholstery and padding on dash re-done about 25 years ago, looks great except headliner is in poor condition. Door seals need to be replaced.
Engine runs well . Transmission has some minor slippage. I've decided to sell my Packard due to poor health. I'll miss the oohs and aahs I've gotten as I've driven around town.
