Finished in two-tone green, the finish quality inside and out is exceptional. This Packard has seen an extensive, photo-documented restoration with high attention to detail and no expense spared.
Bumpers, trim, grilles and chrome are all in excellent condition, as are lenses and all glass. Panels are straight with very good gaps and door fitment. The interior is likewise in "as manufactured" condition, and finished in correct materials. All lights, gauges and switches work as they should -- thanks to new reproduction dash and heater switches and an overhauled speedometer. Even the glove box clock has been restored and works properly. The factory radio has been rebuilt with modern AM/FM internals and a hidden under-car antenna.
Mechanically, every system has been refurbished -- rebuilt engine, transmission and differential, new brakes and tires (including spare), new exhaust, new tune-up components, and the list goes on. The 282 cubic-inch "straight eight" engine starts reliably and runs smoothly; clutch, gearbox and shift linkage feel great. Electric overdrive solenoid and relay have been replaced for reliable operation.
