
This 1948 Packard Deluxe Eight Station Sedan, #229321744, recently underwent a frame off restoration. Restoration work included a full engine rebuild, suspension, brakes, exhaust system, high quality body work, and new glass ( except tailgate window). New correct birch frames with mahogany wood-grained panels, new chrome, interior, seat upholstery, headliner were all included at the time of restoration. Upgrades to the car include leather seating, wool carpet, chrome plating on the seat frames, tailgate hinges and latches and radial tires. Wiring used in the car was a complete, new in the box NOS kit. A factory option for 1948, this car has an electromatic clutch and overdrive. The steering wheel was meticulously restored to the proper ivory color and the vacuum powered antenna was restored and works as well. Vehicle is sold with a current Maine Registration.
